Every Sunday a narrow Victorian street erupts into a wall of blooms, with traders bellowing prices and the surrounding indie shops, cafés and a brass band doing the rest. Go early for calm, late for the knock-down armfuls of flowers.
The market runs Sunday roughly 8am, 3pm and nothing else. Turn up any other day and it's just a (lovely) quiet street.
Mid-morning it's shoulder-to-shoulder. Before 9am is calm; the last hour is when traders slash prices to clear stock.
