The Ropewalk: a tight run of railway arches that fills at weekends with traders, natural-wine arches and some of the best street food south of the river, born as the low-key antidote to Borough Market's crowds. Eat, drink, repeat.
Saturday and Sunday daytime is the market. Weekdays the arches are mostly shut (a few bars/producers aside).
Most traders are card now, but the arches get rammed 12, 2pm. Go early or mid-afternoon for elbow room.
